Self-taught, Rodrigo Miranda started to draw since an early age. Surrounded by the city's graffitis, it did not took long for him to spread his tags and bombs across the neighborhood until his technique evolved to complex wildstyle letters and murals. Rodrigo understands art as a tool to transform the environment in which he lives.

Nowadays his techniques diversify between spray, stencil, brush, roller, latex, pencil, and woodcuts. When he is not expressing himself on the city walls, he is working with different styles of art and digital drawings. In addition to the panels, he also paints canvas, designs iconic stages for psychedelic trance festivals, works with scenography, collaborates with a skate brand developing his own clothing collection, and is involved in multi-media projects

Autodidata, Rodrigo Miranda começou a desenhar desde cedo. Cercado pelos grafites da cidade, não demorou muito para que ele espalhasse suas tags e bombs pelo bairro até que sua técnica evoluiu para complexas cartas e murais wildstyle. Rodrigo entende a arte como uma ferramenta para transformar o ambiente em que vive.

Hoje em dia suas técnicas se diversificam entre spray, estêncil, pincel, rolo, látex, lápis e xilogravura. Quando ele não está se expressando nas paredes da cidade, ele está trabalhando com diferentes estilos de arte e desenhos digitais. Além dos painéis, ele também pinta tela, projeta palcos icônicos para festivais de Psytrance, trabalha com cenografia, colabora com uma marca de skate desenvolvendo sua própria coleção de roupas e está envolvido em projetos multimídia

Igor Dias is a Designer and Illustrator in Brazil since 2016 who realized his passion for art by studying technical drawing while a teenager, which aroused his interest to deepen his knowledge in Graphic Design. Since then Chucrutth has been specializing in photo manipulation and edition, collage and realism, with a taste of the surrealism stamped in sceneries and situations from unreal worlds.

A arte mostra o caminho de um homem solitário andando sentido à um portal que o levará ao mundo da crypto moeda. Esse homem caminha por uma estrada em meio ao deserto, cercado por ruínas de colunas antigas.

Me chamo Igor Dias, artista brasileiro e Chucrutth é meu nome artístico. Trabalho como Designer e Ilustrador de forma independente há quase cinco anos. 

Não tenho uma área específica de atuação, tenho aptidão para criar toda forma de arte, seja ela manual ou digital. Comecei a me interessar por desenhos na adolescência enquanto estudava desenho técnico, a partir daí estudei design gráfico, realismo, manipulação e edição de fotos. 

Utilizo alguns programas do pacote Adobe para criar meus projetos, como Adobe Photoshop e Adobe Lightroom. Gosto de criar minha arte com um tom de surrealismo, criando cenários ou situações em um mundo irreal.

Todo mundo tem sua própria jornada. Alguns seguem o padrão, na ilusão de um caminho seguro que sempre acaba em sucesso, enquanto outros se recusam a acreditar que há de fato um manual perfeito a seguir para prosperar. Para ambos os estereótipos há uma máxima: é um longo caminho e o único caminho é para a frente.

Esta obra de arte representa aqueles que são capazes de perceber a importância da tecnologia blockchain e como ela mudará o cotidiano de cada ser humano. Fala sobre a determinação necessária para passar pacientemente por todos os pilares tradicionais, enraizados em nossa sociedade, a fim de continuar seguindo o caminho da descentralização.

A exaltação da blockchain do Ethereum vem como um reconhecimento do trabalho de Vitalik, já que ele foi capaz de perceber o potencial que as blockchains tinham para executar aplicativos complexos e contribuir, como pioneiro, com o design de uma estrutura de código aberto amigável aos desenvolvedores.

Os vícios são hábitos que se fazem presentes até quando não praticados, através da consciência de que dificultam o caminho para a real plenitude. Quando estimulados, chegam ao ponto de transformar o próprio poder de decisão, tornando inconvenientes os eventos que impossibilitam as suas práticas.

Na obra está representada a ausência completa do poder de decisão, da própria liberdade, estágio que pertence somente àqueles que não mais acreditam na beleza de seus sonhos.

Em um ambiente escuro e tecnológico, os portões metálicos se abrem revelando uma ponte metálica que leva a um organismo abstrato. A câmera se aproxima e três esferas flutuantes, alinham-se no centro e entram neste organismo que se assemelha a uma glândula em sua aparência. Este órgão se move revelando formas geométricas e fractais, onde a figura de um ser humano flutuante aparece. Ele observa a câmera e entra em transe. Uma luz vermelha acende-se em seu peito e a câmera revela a cena por trás do personagem. Plantas exóticas balançam enquanto uma esfera geométrica aparece com uma linha luminosa no centro. Esta luz se apaga e a câmera volta atrás dos portões, que fecham novamente deixando toda a cena escura novamente.

Precisamos passar pelos portões rígidos do subconsciente para ver profundamente e a presença da consciência abre essas portas. Ao se aproximar do organismo, o magnetismo da consciência provoca uma resposta química no sistema orgânico, enviando três elementos que ativarão a glândula responsável pela manifestação.

A reação desencadeia uma série de atividades atômicas, impulsos elétricos que manifestam o eu interior. Esse ser interior, ao contemplar a presença da consciência, entra em um transe profundo, guiado pela luz do coração, ativando as emoções sublimes.

Ele é natural do extremo Sul do Brasil e sua paixão pela arte digital começou por volta dos 12 anos, brincando com softwares de manipulação de imagens, como o GIMP. Ao longo dos anos ele tem se divertido constantemente com todos os tipos de softwares criativos.

He has been an artist, composer and music producer for over 5 years. In 2015, with the debut of the musical project called Klipsun, he worked with several record labels in different countries such as Australia, Denmark and Israel, among others, in addition to participating in major cultural festivals in various Brazilian capitals presenting his own songs.       

Also in the area of audiovisual and Sound Design, he is the composer of tracks for documentaries, feature films and short films, winning in 2016, by popular jury, the title of the best soundtrack by the ScapCine Festival. He was also nominated for other awards at international festivals in the soundtrack category.

Através de linhas coloridas emaranhadas em um fundo preto é formada a imagem de Eivor, um homem branco, loiro, com cabelo e barba trançados. Em cada uma das mãos ele segura um machado diferente e seu traje é característico dos vikings, sendo composto por uma túnica azul por debaixo de um colete, pele de animal sobre os ombros, calça de tecido, botas, manoplas metálicas, uma lâmina oculta e um cinturão robusto. Em seu ombro direito está um corvo e a expressão facial de Eivor é intimidadora, denunciando o responsável pelo corpo que jaz abaixo de sua bota direita.

Líder nato, carinhoso com sua família, exímio guerreiro e honrado, com uma humildade que o faz ser capaz de ajudar até nas circunstâncias mais simples, Eivor cumpre com seu papel como um exemplo. 


Eivor Varinsdottir

Na obra de arte é representada a figura de Kenshiro, através de linhas coloridas que se entrelaçam e do jogo de luzes e sombras que criam profundidade. Kenshiro é homem, alto, sua pele é branca, seus olhos estreitos, nariz e boca marcantes. Seu corpo é muito musculoso e seu traje é composto por uma camiseta de couro azul marinho que exibe seu peitoral e seus braços, um cinto grosso e calça de couro azul marinho. A expressão facial de Kenshiro transmite seriedade e intenção de justiça.

A obra retrata a figura de Kenshiro, protagonista de Hokuto no Ken. Lançado em 1984 e inspirado em um dos mangás mais populares da história, o anime foi pioneiro no formato de ação que influenciou a criação, dentre outros, de Cavaleiros do Zodíaco e Dragon Ball Z.

Kenshiro é o sucessor de um estilo de arte marcial conhecido como Hokuto Shinken, que busca pontos vitais secretos do corpo humano, muitas vezes resultando em uma morte muito sangrenta. Essa violência é justificada no contexto de um mundo pós-apocalíptico habitado por uma quantidade excessiva de criminosos que não respeitam a harmonia social, já que Kenshiro dedica sua vida os derrotando.

Kenshiro

Imagem construída com linhas coloridas emaranhadas sob fundo preto, formando a figura de Samus Aran. Seu cabelo é loiro, a cor dos olhos é azul e sua pele é branca. Samus está usando uma armadura biomecânica de alta tecnologia para proteção e combate, que cobre todo o seu corpo e tem ombreiras proeminentes. A armadura é laranja, com exceção do peito e do capacete, que são vermelhos. Ela carrega na mão esquerda, na altura da cintura, o capacete com viseira verde e sua mão direita está dentro de uma arma azul de projéteis de energia, apontando-a para cima com cotovelo abaixado.

De uma franquia revolucionária que inspirou inúmeros jogos, Samus Aran é a primeira personagem feminina e protagonista na indústria de jogos. A obra representa a rainha dos Reptilianos, raça extraterrestre muito evoluída que visita a Terra desde épocas muito remotas. Como muitos já se atentaram, vieram com o objetivo de mudar os rumos da humanidade e para isso ocupam os cargos mais influentes nas mídias e principalmente nos governos. De natureza agressiva e muito inteligentes, conseguem dominar qualquer raça que se oponha, à disposição de tudo para satisfazer seus interesses.

Imagem construída através de linhas curvilíneas roxas, vermelhas, azuis e marrons, que definem uma figura em forma de botão de flor. Em seu interior pode-se observar um rosto de pele cinza, boca vermelha, com olhos tampados por vitrais indianos que derretem e com dois piercings, um nas narinas e outro logo abaixo do lábio inferior. Estão presentes texturas  hexagonais azuis, rococós marrons e listras metálicas, o fundo da imagem é texturizado em couro e apresenta listras brancas.

Aquela que resguarda toda a criação, que oferece abrigo das intempéries e protege o movimento sagrado da força criativa. Entidade guerreira que remove o medo que paralisa, eliminando tudo o que bloqueia a pulsão de vida.

Surge como um escudo, uma barreira que não pode ser derrubada. No centro, a coluna representa uma escada a subir que nos conduz ao sentido íntimo das coisas. Na espinha dorsal está a flor da vida, que se ergue como o princípio, a semente original que revela a inter-conexão de tudo que existe.

A Guardiã traz a estrutura interior que dá aos seus filhos os meios de poder e os ajuda a encontrar o seu eixo no mundo.

Oracles exist since time immemorial. It was an important aspect of the Greek religion and also very popular in the Scandinavian mythology. In China, the Shang Dynasty used the I Ching for fortune telling and many other cultures around the world have a sort of Oracle for those who are seeking answers. 

Oracles are the manifestation of a Deity who offers the gift of divination specially in times of need. They are also the sacred soil where the divine presence is always noticed, as well as the intermediary who channelizes the insightful councils.

I consider art a kind of Oracle, for it is the connection between man and divinity.

The Oracle

Figura humanoide com estatura surrealmente gigante, comparável ao tamanho dos astros celestes. Sua pele e seus olhos reluzentes são da cor roxo e seus lábios são azuis. Suas mãos convergem à sua frente com as palmas voltadas para cima, oferecendo uma estrutura tridimensional de linhas pretas e roxas, representando o dom do divino, ao espectador. Na posição do terceiro olho está incrustado um crânio menor com chifres azuis e em sua testa um giroscópio que abriga uma galáxia espiral. Uma construção semelhante ao Taj Mahal se encontra apoiada em sua cabeça e seus ombros emanam formas curvilíneas nas tonalidades de roxo, azul e vermelho. O ser se encontra apoiado com seus antebraços no planeta Terra e o fundo da imagem é composto por nebulosas e outros planetas.

Os oráculos existem desde tempos imemoriais. Era um aspecto importante da religião grega e também muito popular na mitologia escandinava. Na China, a Dinastia Shang usou o I Ching para contar fortunas e muitas outras culturas ao redor do mundo têm uma espécie de Oráculo para aqueles que estão buscando respostas. 

Os oráculos são a manifestação de uma Divindade que oferece o dom da adivinhação especialmente em tempos de necessidade. São também o solo sagrado onde a presença divina é sempre notada, assim como o intermediário que canaliza os conselhos perspicazes.

In a way, we are all very close to become cyborgs, since our natural functions and senses are complemented by dispositives like glasses, pacemakers, hearing aids, prostheses and so on. We use computers, smartphones and other devices to help our brain to process data and information. And an interconnected global system of computer networks that we can access almost anywhere and anytime is changing the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us. The future is cybernetic. 

Researches are already being made to develop insect cyborgs by implementing electronic chips in cockroaches and flies to spy on enemies. Projects were created to emulate the human brain inside a computer, creating an artificial intelligence capable of speaking and behaving like us. Now imagine if we could develop an artificial body that can integrate a human brain? What would be the implication of that on our society? We are approaching a new reality where everything that gives meaning to our human experience o Earth might simply disappear.

The Scientific Revolution

De certa forma, estamos todos muito perto de nos tornarmos ciborgues, já que nossas funções naturais e sentidos são complementados por dispositivos como os óculos, marca-passos, aparelhos auditivos, próteses e assim por diante. Usamos computadores, smartphones e outros dispositivos para ajudar nosso cérebro a processar dados e informações, além de um sistema global interconectado de redes de computadores que podemos acessar em quase qualquer lugar e a qualquer hora está mudando a maneira como percebemos a nós mesmos e ao mundo ao nosso redor. O futuro é cibernético. 

Pesquisas já estão sendo feitas para desenvolver ciborgues de insetos, implementando chips eletrônicos em baratas e moscas para espionar inimigos. Projetos foram criados para imitar o cérebro humano dentro de um computador, criando uma inteligência artificial capaz de falar e se comportar como nós. Agora imagine se pudéssemos desenvolver um corpo artificial que possa integrar um cérebro humano? Qual seria a implicação disso em nossa sociedade? Estamos nos aproximando de uma nova realidade onde tudo o que dá sentido à nossa experiência humana pode simplesmente desaparecer.

Some goes by the standard, following the illusion of a safe path that always ends up in success, while others refuse to believe that there is in fact a perfect manual to follow in order to thrive. To both stereotypes there is a maxim: it is a long road and the only way is forward.

This artwork represents those who are capable of perceiving the importance of blockchain technology and how it will change the everyday of every human being. It tells about the determination it takes to patiently walk past all traditional pillars, rooted in our society, in order to keep following the decentralization path.

The exaltation of Ethereum's blockchain comes as an acknowledgment of Vitalik's work since he was capable of perceiving the potential that blockchains had to run complex applications and contribute by pioneering the design of an open source framework that enables any developer to code them.

In a dark and technological environment, the metallic gates open revealing a metal bridge that leads to an abstract organism.  The camera approaches, three spheres floating, lining up at the center and entering this organism that resembles a gland in its appearance.  This organ moves revealing geometric and fractal shapes, where the figure of a floating human being appears.  He watches the camera and goes into a trance. A red light turns on in his chest and the camera reveals the scene behind the character. Exotic plants sway as a geometric sphere with a luminous line in the center appears. This light goes out and the camera goes back behind the gates, which closes leaving the whole scene dark again.

We need to get through the rigid gates of the subconscious to see deeply. The presence of consciousness opens these doors. When approaching the organism, the magnetism of consciousness provokes a chemical response in the organic system, sending out three elements that will activate the gland responsible for the manifestation. 

 

The reaction triggers a series of atomic activities, electrical impulses that manifest the inner self. This inner being, when contemplating the presence of consciousness, goes into a deep trance, guided by the light of the heart, activating the sublime emotions.  

 

But what is eternal reveals itself for a short time. In the blink of an eye the light of the higher self goes out, protecting the revelation again behind the rigid gates of the subconscious.

Assassin’s Creed is able to portray historical facts through an immersive story that stimulates the search for clues, or memory fragments, in order to enrich the way we perceive humanity’s history. In this cycle the series brings the Nordic, much known as Vikings,  around ninth century.

Eivor Varinsdottir is the dual protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Portrayed as a man or a woman, in the player’s choice, has character that surpasses any gender concept. Natural leader, affectionate with it’s family, accomplished warrior and honorable, with a humility that makes him the one that helps even in the most trivial circumstances, Eivor fulfill its role.

In the artwork is represented the figure of Kenshiro, through colorful lines that intertwine. Kenshiro is a tall man, his skin is white, he has narrowed eyes and striking nose and mouth. His body is very muscular and his attire consists of a navy blue leather t-shirt that displays his pectoral and his arms, a thick belt and navy blue leather pants. Kenshiro's facial expression conveys seriousness and intent of justice.

The artwork depicts the figure of Kenshiro, protagonist of Hokuto no Ken. Released in 1984 and inspired by one of the most popular manga in history, the anime pioneered the action format that influenced the creation, among others, of Knights of the Zodiac and Dragon Ball Z.

Kenshiro is the successor of a martial art style known as Hokuto Shinken, which seeks secret vital points from the human body, often resulting in a very bloody death. This violence is justified in the context of a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by an excessive number of criminals who do not respect social harmony, as Kenshiro dedicates his life defeating them.

Samus came from a tragic origin, witnessing while just a child the death of her parents and the invasion of her planet. She was protected and adopted by the Chozo, known to possess the most advanced technology in the galaxy, received training, besides a Power Suit, with the purpose of protecting others and become a galaxy’s guardian. Designed by the Chozo through an AI and integrated with the user’s DNA, Power Suits are biomechanical super armors built for protection and combat. The choice of Varia Suit in this artwork represents the resiliency of Samus since it’s utilities are related to damage reduction and resistance to extreme temperatures and because it is the only suit to appear in every Metroid game.
